Cupcake creations

The quickest way to fail is to not try in the first place and practice makes perfect are two sayings that have stuck with me along the way in adulthood. So although like most people trying things for the first time I have thoughts of inadequacy, I try to remember why I like baking. I like having a go at new things, I like to surprise friends with gifts and often like to share making things with the kids. So who cares if it is picture perfect right? It is only by trying things that you can reflect on how well you did it and how you could change it in future. I have a selection of pictures of my first attempts at cupcakes onwards. They were fun and although not professional looking, very much appreciated by those who god to eat them.
